At FC Industries, environmental responsibility is central to how we operate, purchase, and produce. Our sustainability initiatives are guided by a comprehensive framework designed to minimize our environmental impact while maintaining fiscal responsibility and operational excellence. As a manufacturing leader, we recognize the role we play in protecting natural resources and are committed to transparent reporting of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy use, water management, and waste reduction efforts.
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emission Targets
FC Industries has established a structured plan for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions, supported by our Environmental Policy and Environmentally Preferred Purchasing Policy. We track and disclose both Scope 1 emissions—direct emissions from our operations—and Scope 2 emissions, which include indirect emissions from purchased electricity, heating, and cooling. Through these measures, we aim to continuously reduce our carbon footprint while enhancing energy efficiency across all divisions
Energy Consumption
Energy efficiency is embedded in our procurement and facility management processes. All equipment and systems purchased or leased by FC Industries meet or exceed U.S. EPA Energy Star or Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) standards. We prioritize renewable energy solutions where feasible and favor systems that minimize reliance on non-renewable sources
Water Stewardship
Our operations incorporate water-efficient technologies to reduce overall withdrawal and consumption. All divisions are directed to use equipment and fixtures that meet the EPA WaterSense criteria, ensuring that our production and facility operations maintain high water-use efficiency and minimize wastewater discharge

Waste reduction and material reuse are key components of our environmental performance. We actively minimize general waste through efficient sourcing, durable material use, and recycling programs. Products and materials are selected with preference for high post-consumer recycled content, non-toxic composition, and recyclability at end of life. Our divisions also emphasize waste reuse and reduction at the source, reinforced through staff training and vendor collaboration
Continuous Improvement and Accountability
FC Industries’ Green Team evaluates sustainability performance annually, reporting progress toward emission, energy, and resource management goals directly to executive leadership.
